We’re Moving!

So, on Tuesday we got the amazing news that we have a house!
OK, so we’re still renting but we’re moving out of our crummy flat! This has been a long time waiting, with a lot of tears and frustrations on the way. But this time next month, we’ll have a new place to live with lots more room in a lovely quiet area.

I can’t wait to start making it ‘our own’. I’m going to be very poor for the next few months, so I’m not entirely sure exactly what touches we can add to it at this stage, but we will be sofa shopping soon so it’s a start!

I am selling a few things on eBay to raise some funds, would be very grateful if you guys had a look at what’s on offer 😉

Anyway, aside from this brilliant news, you’ll also notice the adorable illustration that Emily from Jammy & Jelly did for me to demonstrate one of my New Year goals! 9 days in and I haven’t had too much time to look at my photography book, but I’m still determined to learn so I will find time once all the hassle of packing up our lives to move is all out of the way!
The blog may get quiet over the coming few weeks – I do have a few posts lined up though, so stay tuned!

Yey that's great news – I know only too well what you mean about tears and apartments, the one we're in has made me cry many a time.

We need a new sofa too – we're actually using a futon that's past it's prime and it's a wonder that it stays in one piece, but we're slumming it until we buy a house!

Ooh yay, that's awesome! 😀 I'm moving at the end of the month too (again, ha!). Looking forward to seeing the pictures when you've put your own little touches on it! x

Thanks hun! It's bound to be stressful so I'm fully expecting more tears on the way haha. I hope you find and move to a place that doesn't make you cry, it's really cruddy not being happy where you live.

That'll be exciting getting a house, but I bet the saving is hard! x

Thank you hun, I am just looking forward to the day I can get the little things – I do have some gift cards for M&S, Next and Debenhams for Christmas so maybe I will use those! x

Woohoo! Congratulations! I'd fab having your own place, the only thing I've found is that it's all too easy to fill it up quickly – although it's certainly fun doing that! 🙂 x
