It’s Starting To Look A Lot Like Christmas…

OK, many people will read the title of this post and groan in a Scrooge-like manner (I’m looking at you Liam), but I love this time of year. So we’re still a few weeks away from Christmas, but at least I wasn’t harping on about it in November.
So what Christmassy things have I been up to already and what am I looking forward to in the coming weeks?

All the Christmas shopping is done and dusted (and wrapped, too).
I have had several mince pies already, and am craving the mulled wine.
Plenty of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows has been consumed, with much more to come with this festively chilly weather!
The Christmas party at work has taken place – I did opt for beef with the meal instead of turkey so I didn’t feel like I was cheating on Christmas.
I cannot wait to tuck in to some pigs in blankets. Me and Liam will be having our ‘mini xmas’ on 22nd where the sausages wrapped in bacon are mandatory.
I’ll be beginning my Christmas annual leave next Friday – the chance to make absolutely sure that I don’t need to pick up any more Christmassy bits (or treats for Liam as his birthday is on 21st).
Are you getting into the festive spirit too?

Jealous of how organised you are with all your wrapping, I need to get sorted with mine next week (I hope) and need to get on with baking some mince pies …

So jealous of your organisation, I have got most of my presents now, but haven't even thought about colours for my wrapping paper & ribbons, yet – oops!
I do hate it when people start talking about Christmas in November, but once December hits, as far as I'm concerned, it's fair game! xx

I try and get more organised each year, but usually end up spending more money… I will be baking mince pies and cupcakes with my mum on christmas eve, can't wait!

Bless – I bet the presents will look beautiful when they are done 🙂 I never bother with ribbons and things – just pretty paper from Paperchase and some cute sticker labels.

I love Christmas so I'm happy to talk about it from after my birthday (4 November), but tend to wait as much as I can before getting too excitable… x

We have almost all our presents, too. I think we've just got two to buy, and a couple of cards to be posted. I've just had fun tarting up the presents with ribbons and bows–possibly the best bit of Christmas for me!

I'm catching up on blog posts while watching The Muppets Christmas Carol 🙂 Glad you're so organised!

Check you out! I am not creative enough to use ribbons and bows – I just wrap and add a sticker label! (M&S have some adorable ones).

I only saw Muppets Christmas Carol for the first time in full last year, great xmas film! x
