I’m a sucker for a shop which sells lots of awesome homeware bits and unique furniture. Chic Creek Worthing is definitely one of those types of shops.

I’ve visited a few times now and have gotten to know the lovely owners Tina and Roger (as well as Alan, their adorable Sporting Lucas puppy). As a local business, they are doing a really great job of breathing life into Worthing – much like my beloved cake-scoffing haunt of Baked.

The shop really is a sight to behold – it’s absolutely chock-full of great gifts and upcycled furniture, that Tina and Roger refurbish themselves. Everywhere you look there’s so much to see and it’s pretty much impossible to walk out of the shop without buying something. I just had to buy this adorable fox and minty green heart the last time I paid a visit.

The thing I love most about the shop is how everything is laid out. All of the displays are themed, quite often around the lovely furniture, and it really draws you in. The process of upcycling the furniture is also detailed on adorable mini canvas’ so that you get to know the story behind the piece. You could spend hours in there taking in everything on display.

It feels very much like a Brighton shop – Chic Creek is going some way to making Worthing a more desirable place to shop and is definitely making the seafront a more enjoyable place to be!

If you’re a local to Worthing, you can find the shop on the seafront just opposite the pier. Go check them out on Facebook and Twitter as well!

That beer sign is awesome! Luke isn't particularly festive (I hope that'll change as Jenson grows up cos I bleddy love it!) so it'd look amazing in our living room.
