52 Lists Project: 2014 Goals

Hey folks! For a little inspiration I have decided to get involved with the 52 Lists project (find out more and get involved here). A new topic for a list is posted once a week, so I’m a little behind at the moment! I’ll be aiming to post to catch up every day or couple of days!

The first list is a list of goals for 2014. Now I realise we’re already 3 months in (where does the time go?!) but that just means I can cross one off already – and it’s always a good feeling to cross off items on a list!

List #1 – List your goals for the year

1. Move out of the cruddy 2 bed flat  – DONE!
2. Do more exercise, either running with Liam or joining the gym
3. I will leave work at work. I am getting better at this, but sometimes I give in to checking my work emails on the go!
4. I will try to worry less and relax more. This is a difficult one for me but I can always try…
5. I will aim to keep this blog updated more often, my scheduling has sucked recently largely due to being unwell.

    I've seen these 52 lists around on a few blogs and it's really interesting to se other peoples idea on the same list.

    I struggle with leaving work at work or working regular hours, but I'm trying. Good luck with your goals!!

    52 Lists is fab! It's a project being organised by Ema from Made in Hunters http://madeinhunters.blogspot.co.uk/.

    I would love to be able to worry less and relax more. One thing I have found help a bit is reading a book called the Chimp Paradox by Dr Steve Peters – I'm not one for self help books normally, but reading this really has helped

    Sorry to take so long to reply! Had to take a blogging break due to illness.

    It is really hard to leave work behind, but for me I see it as a sign of caring about the job at hand, which is usually a good thing! x

    It's great, isn't it? I have a lot of catching up to do though!

    Sounds like an interesting book – I'm not really one for self help stuff either, but if it works then it works! x
